Head - Finance - Bank

Presently we are looking for a Senior resource having experience in the Finance Function. Someone handling Financial Accounting, MIS, Reporting & IFRS.

This is with one of our client which is leading MNC Bank.

Job Description:

- Accounting as per Indian GAAP and IFRS.

- Preparation of various Business MIS and analysis to help to top management to take informed decisions

- Local financials of the bank. Presentation of the Financials as per the India GAAPs on a monthly basis to the senior management.

- Responsible for the calculation of the RWA and capital adequacy ratio as per the Basel II and Basel III requirements and publishing the same on a daily basis to the senior management.

- Monitoring the General Ledger and Financials of the Bank as per the applicable Accounting Standards and ensuring proper controls over the same.

- Signing off on the Ledger every month end close from India Bank perspective.

- Review & Analysis of the Monthly P&L as per the LOCAL GAAP.

- Coordination with the Concurrent, Internal & Statutory Auditors while handling the various audits being conducted on the bank to ensure smooth audit cycle and satisfactory audit ratings.

- Establishing overall strong internal controls in the bank to ensure proper compliance with all the regulations and policies.

Required Candidate Skills:

Qualification: CA (Chartered Accountant)

Exp : 10 - 15 yrs of work exp in accounting, MIS, IFRS, reporting.

- Preferred candidate from Banks & Big Four companies like (PWC, KPMG, Deloitte & E&Y)

- Excellent communication skills required.

- Should have strategic bend of mind.

- Should have good understanding about the banking industry.
