Head - Finance - Alcoholic Beverage Firm

Position: Head of Finance, Indospirit Group of Companies

Location: Delhi

Reporting to: Managing Director, Indospirit Group of Companies

Summary:
- The Head of Finance will have the primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all finance and accounts related activities for the company at a Group level. The position requires a hands-on attitude and will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, compliances, forecasting, strategic planning, budgets, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance, risk assessment, and private and institutional financing.

- The Head of Finance will be expected to provide key finance based business intelligence, analysis, top-line and bottom-line projections, cost and fund management strategy, and will drive strategic business decisions along with top management of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

- Drive the company's financial planning and reporting for all Group companies

- Monitor and maintain the company's accounting policies to ensure accurate, efficient and consistent reporting

- Coordinate timely and comprehensive cash flow forecasting for all operating and capital needs

- Prepare, monitor and deliver the bottom-line through sound budgeting and follow-through

- Analytical evaluation of monthly financials vs. plan and prior periods

- Work with functional heads to help monitor, analyze and improve operational performance

- Responsible for inventory & debtor control; implement appropriate financial controls

- Responsible for statutory compliances, internal audit, and any other financial compliance

- Evaluate the financial impact of potential acquisitions, new business opportunities, regulatory compliance, risk management and funding activities

- Lead debt and equity raising activities; manage lender and investor relationships

- Lead upgradation of finance IT systems

- Team building to support fast pace of growth

- Work closely with the MD and senior management, make strategic recommendations based on financial analysis

Desired Candidate profile:

- Minimum 7 years of experience in a senior finance role

- Education Background - CA (Preferably a rank holder) first attempt / MBA Finance

- Experience in managing finance and accounts for multiple lines of business
