Head - Finance & Accounts/Taxation - CA

Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 15+ years of work experience in overall accounting, taxation, finance, strategic business plan, compliances and SAP.

Education - Qualified CA, First Attempt, Second Attempt preferred

Job description

Responsibilities:

- Overall financial management of the company

- Participate in the development of the vision, long term strategy and plans of the company

- Contribute to all strategic, commercial and financial decisions from a financial perspective

- Develop the financial structure of the company and funding strategy in line with the business plans of the company, the shareholders' plans and highlight risk aspects

- Treasury Management to ensure maximum returns

- Key Investment appraisals including Merger and acquisition

- Ensure accurate presentation of accounts and financial statements with no qualification by auditors

- Statutory Compliances

- Compliance & completion of financial and tax audit.

- Develop the tax planning strategy for the company

- Responsible for initiating, participating and collating data and information to prepare Annual Budget Forecasts and Plan in time

- Prepare and coordinate preparation of all reports required for the Board meetings and shareholder meetings

- Ensure maintenance of books of accounts as per rules and regulations and institute a system of audit to ensure that proper records and reports are maintained and all statutory and audit requirements are complied with in the company and all associate entities

- Ensure that all audits - financial, cost and tax are completed in time and with no qualifications and that auditors comments are appropriately actioned

- Establish and continuously upgrade systems and procedures for accounting and audit including using technology more effectively to make the system more prompt and a decision making tool

- Ensure that all statutory funds such as Gratuity, Superannuation and Employee Welfare funds are managed appropriately and all statutory compliances met

- Ensure that all compliances and returns required for all direct and indirect taxation are complied with on time

- Maintain relationships with bankers, financial institutions, financial analysts, fund managers
