Head - Finance & Accounts - FMCG/Telecom/Retail/Pharma

Role In Brief:

- Set up accounting/finance systems and processes to ensure cost control and prevent leakages in the system

- Investor Relationship Management

- Cash Management

- Financial Reporting & Accounting: ensure accuracy and timeliness across all accounting processes - Put in place strong SOPs for monthly MIS - financial and operating

Financial Operations:

- Lead the monthly reviews and analysis of financial performance

- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed in the organization

- Oversee cash and investment management

- Oversee the development of systems and tools to provide critical financial & operational information to various business heads. Provide actionable, strategic & operational based on insights.

- Engage with the Board, Strategic Partners and appropriate committees around financial issues, trends, and changes in the operating model

- Play a pivotal role in liaising with external shareholders including financial institutions, equity partners, and independent auditors

Compliance:

- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place for compliance of all applicable laws, state & local regulatory laws and rules for financial & tax reporting

- Ensure all secretarial records are in order and necessary filings are done to bridge gaps

Due Diligence:

- Lead the due diligence exercise during the fund raising process (debt/equity)

Candidate Profile:

- CA with a minimum of 10 years experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, Experience in a senior financial management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of financial management strategies

- Should have worked in the consumer/B2C space to understand the nuances of a consumer/B2C business

- Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills
