Head - Finance & Accounts - CA - Telecom

This opening is for leading telecommunication distribution in Middle East & Africa.

Position title: Financial Accounting Head

Business Unit: Group

Location: Dubai

Position Reports To: CFO

Pls Note : Candidates with Indian Chartered Accountancy certification, and should have worked in conglomerate /group finance will be preferred.

Position Summary:

- The Financial Accounting Head would be responsible for managing financial functions of the Business Unit.

- Formulate and administer the overall strategic financial plans and business controls based on company policies as directed by the Director Finance.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements of the Business Units.

- Daily and Weekly consolidation of:

a) Stock positions

b) Sales and sales return

c) Review of cash position

d) Review of payments

e) Review of receipts

f) Review of expenses

g) Exceptional transactions

- Manager Monthly - Banks reconciliation, Monthly sales/collections/receipts

- Responsible for Treasury overview

- Responsible for Compliances/ governance process

- Management reporting and MIS review

- Manage the Finance & Accounting function, reporting, controls for the group

- Team Management and delegation of responsibilities

Minimum Qualification and Skills:

Academic and Professional Qualification:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant

Attributes:

- Excellent written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, proficient with PCs for analysis and modeling, creative thinking, economic, and analytical skills.

Experience:

- Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience handling Finance & Accounts, Audit, Internal Controls functions

- Experience establishing financial controls and establishing financial strategies.

- Experience in monitoring, evaluating and developing, planning and forecasting processes and systems and implement changes required for improvement.
