Job Description - As the Head - Finance and Accounts, you will be responsible for the entire gamut of finance and accounts for a critical unit of the company. You will partner with the business head as well as the group CFO to ensure top notch financial compliances and deliver key, actionable insights on a regular basis.

Description

As the Head - Finance and Accounts you will report to the Group CFO. Your role will include:

- Overall responsibility for operational, transactional and financial accounting including and up to finalization of balance sheet and P&L on a quarterly and annual basis in both US GAAP and IGAAP

- Business partnering with the CEO to ensure profitable delivery of the business on both top line and bottom line

- Ensuring the set up of appropriate internal controls to mitigate risks surrounding the various processes

- Strategy formulation together with top management along with concrete business plans, budgets and forecasts

Profile

As a successful candidate you are a Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of post qualification experience (CA batches 2004 to 2007 will be preferred). You have some exposure to US GAAP accounting. You have worked in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industries (express/ freight forwarding or other industry with extremely high transaction volumes), You have managed mid-sized/ small sized organisation's complete finance departments. You possess strong people management skills including conflict resolution, ability to take a stand and clear and precise communication. You are highly customer oriented results-driven. You are flexible with for light travelling. (Mumbai Suburban region candidates will be preferred)
