Head - Finance & Accounts - CA - Infrastructure

Position : Head - F&A

Reporting to : CFO

Location : Chennai

Desired Profile :

Education : CA add on qualifications like ICWA & CS will be preferred . Candidate should have good scholastic record

Experience : 18 -25 years of relevant experience with minimum 10 + years of experience in leadership role at corporate level in financial reporting, preferably in a large company in infrastructure sector

Age : 40-45 years

Competencies required :

- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential

- Strong analytical / problem solving / creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis

- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of results-orientation

- Track all the major forthcoming changes in financial reporting and take proactive action

- Strong functional skills in the area of Financial and Management accounting

Key Responsibilities :

- Assist in formulating the IC's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives

- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans

- Develop financial and tax strategies

- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes

- Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction

- Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile

- Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

- Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions, as and when required
