Head Finance & Accounts India for an MNC in Pune

Responsibilities & Tasks :

- Support the general manager in business control by making financial plans, continuous analysis and control of the financial KPIs in line with Organization's "The Way We Do Things", IFRS and the local statutory requirements.

- Be pro-active and provide early warnings regarding significant deviations, potential risks and expected results, making sure that red flags are raised and action plans are put in place when/ where necessary.

- Work closely with the financial services team and safeguard that costs and revenues are correctly booked and reported.

- Ensure that that receivables and payables are managed efficiently

- Ensure that all charges to and from other units are complete, timely and accurate

- Handle the business partner management as per the organization's "The Way We Do Things" and ensure that we procure the quality services at the best cost. Ensure that the invoicing and payment are correct and timely.

- Handle audits and audit closures in an efficient manner

- Work with general manager and divisional management as needed on balance sheet reviews and closure of action items

- Pro-actively work with the investment process, review of fixed assets register and physical assets.

- Work closely with the India holding, taxation team, and local service tax authorities as needed and ensure that the service tax related activities are handled in a prompt and efficient manner

- Work closely with Organization's India holding, India HR, and facilities responsible to make sure that we follow and fully comply to all the legal requirements
