Job Description: Head Power Finance.

Position Summary:

- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Power Finance to lead our Power Finance team.

- The successful candidate will implement Finance & Accounts policies and advise the CFO on policy definition and implementation.

- This role is crucial for providing strategic direction within the context of the company's interests.

Mandatory Educational Requirements"

- Graduate Degree with a professional qualification in Accounting or Financial Management (ICAI/ ICWAI).

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts functions with at least 5 years of experience as Head of Finance for a manufacturing company.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategy Planning and Review for Power.

- Control the finance and overall spending for the power business.

- Finalize IGAAP accounts, notes to accounts, and management information system (MIS) reporting.

- Ensure completeness of month-end closing activities at the consolidated level.

- Compile the business plan for the power business, including plant-wise plans.

- Complete cost audits and file them with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.

- Drive cost reduction projects to contribute to the bottom line.

- Prepare detailed MIS, variance analysis, finance reports, and other management accounting aspects.

- Drive automation projects in coordination with the IT department.

- Use analytics to generate insights and design strategies for business opportunities.

- Liaise with external and internal auditors to ensure compliance and minimize audit observations.

- Manage taxation, tax accounts, audits, legal insurance, price risk, and banking for the domain.

- Risk Management and Corporate Governance.

- Ensure functional policies comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry norms.

- Manage finance risks and adhere to group philosophies.

- Establish checks and balances in the structure and processes.

- Ensure statutory compliance with corporate governance requirements.

- Provide management assurance and handle statutory compliance.

- Maintain relations with external auditors and address their findings and recommendations.

- People Development.

- Foster organizational values and build an amicable work culture.

- Support management in succession planning, recruitment, and performance management for the plant.

- Motivate the workforce to ensure smooth production.

- Design and facilitate internal training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
