Head - Exports - Electrical/Switchgear

Job Purpose :

The Company wishes to expand its international reach and be present as an active player. Starting from the Middle East & African markets this person will scout for opportunities, build strategic partnerships with customers, dealers and distributors and establish the company's name as a respected brand. He is expected to exponentially grow the exports business and make the supply chain efficient and agile.

JOB ROLE :

- Monitor all existing and prospective markets to identify appropriate business opportunities and make a business plan to develop & serve these markets

- Make entry strategies for individual markets and develop local partners

- Be responsible for export of goods, comply with all organizational & statutory procedures and administer financial and currency processes.

- Develop and maintain good relationships with all agents, service providers, statutory bodies and customers to ensure smooth shipment of products

- Coordinate with management and plan participation in all trade shows

- Review all customer response for all orders and payments and resolve all customer issues

- To establish and lead these activities, we are looking for a person with a relevant technical background with strong functional knowledge of Exports, who is self- motivated and has a proven track record of International business.

- He should be capable of developing new and innovative strategies for developing business, manage the back-end operations efficiently, coordinate with manufacturing, finance & commercial functions.

Person Profile :

The Head - Exports should be an Electrical Engineer, preferably with an MBA with specialisation in Sales & Marketing in international markets . Strategic thinking and entrepreneurial ability along with superior execution skills are required for the post.

The position will be based in Bhopal and will involve extensive foreign travel.
