We are currently looking for a seasoned Exports leader for a leading agri based company in India that is growing at a fast pace. This company has been there for many years and is well established both in terms of own manufacturing and also a wide sales force.
The first and foremost criteria is you must have a strong understanding of the export in the African and SEA markets. You must be passionate about your work and must be excited to work with a mid-sized organization. If this is just another job change to increase your salary, then this may not work out.
Please note that this role will play a crucial part in the international market exports so you must be well versed with Exports markets for the agri input industry.
The responsibilities include:
- Build strong relationships, more specifically at Decision/Policy making levels.
- Understand and identify new clients to build strong relations in the international markets.
- Stakeholder management and strongly negotiate on various deals.
- Travel internationally to retain existing customers and acquire new stakeholders.
- Analyse the existing markets and make strategies to increase export accordingly.
To fit the bill:
- 15+ years of Business expansion experience in the international markets.
- Ability to analyse and find market solutions to retain customers and increase export.
- Excellent negotiating skills with the ability to influence people in a way that leaves a positive impact.
- Strong understanding of Export, Bids and contracts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify new players and clients and approach them for business development.
- Prior strong relationship in the international market for Agri input export.
- Mechanical/Civil engineers with Business Management are preferred.
