JOB DESCRIPTION

1. JOB PURPOSE

(Briefly describe the general purpose of the position or its significance from the organisation's point of view and how it contributes to the overall mission/objective of the organization).

The position holder will focus on aspirations of the company towards ESG and accordingly identify initiatives, formulating ESG policies, processes and guidelines for the Group.

The position holder will act as a Subject matter expert on ESG and will advise business units on ESG agenda. He/She will drive implementation of ESG initiatives across all company's airports including their subsidiaries and ensure compliance to ESG regulatory framework.

Represent Organization on various forums with respect to ESG agenda and link ESG with brand image of the company

He/She is expected to represent the company in external forum and influence Business & Function across Organizations. Need to have appropriate stature and ability to deliver outcomes. The position holder has to interact and present to Board of Directors, Board Committees, GHB, CEOs and CXOs. He/She has to interact with external stakeholders like Consulting Firms and Rating agencies. He/She has to further interface with strategic partners such as Groupe ADP / NIIF / Other Investors.

Financial Dimensions

- Annual Budget likely in range of Rs 50 L to Rs 100 L

Other Dimensions

(Indication of some of the significant volumes associated with the job like number in team/ staff handled etc).

Number of direct reportees - 2 to 3. Strong influencing skills needed for mainstreaming sustainability in all processes.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

(State the minimum acceptable proficiency for this job which best indicates the education and/or experience requirements of this job and not the incumbent).

- Ability to represent GMR in external forums

- Ability to presenet in Group Holding Boards / Partners (ADP) / Corporate Board & Committee, etc.

- Ability to influence CEOs/CXOs of Business and Functions

- Ability to present / interact with Investors / Rating agencies / Consultants, etc.

Educational Qualifications

- BE with MBA from premier Institute

Relevant and total years of Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in ESG related field

- Minimum 18 years of experience in Strategy/Consulting/Business

- Basic Knowledge in Environment / Sustainability / Climate Change / ESG / related field / Governance
