Responsibilities: As the Head of Midcap Research, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization's research strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

Strategic Leadership:

- Provide strategic direction for midcap research, outlining activities to identify investment opportunities for clients.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of research analysts, setting high standards for performance and growth.

Research Management:

- Cover ideas/stocks and adopt a deal mindset for the organization.

- Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of actionable research output with depth and accuracy.

- Add companies under coverage horizon and actively contribute to the growth of the research portfolio.

Subject Matter Expertise:

- Serve as a subject matter expert in the equities asset class, demonstrating proficiency in Fundamental, Technical, and Quantitative research.

- Lead and execute research-related projects to enhance the organization's research capabilities.

Client Engagement:

- Participate in and contribute to client meetings and conference calls, showcasing the value of research ideas.

- Engage with clients, sales, and product teams to identify research focus areas, providing guidance on mid and small cap research.

Qualifications and Skills:

- CA, MBA, and/or CFA with a strong research background across all disciplines.

- 10-15 years of experience on the buy-side or sell-side with leadership skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Expertise in preparing presentation-quality research and summaries.

- Successful track record as a small and mid-cap analyst in institutional equity houses.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in stock picking and writing research reports.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.

- Demonstrated success in engaging with clients and contributing to business growth.

- Adept at handling research projects and maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality output.

- Passion for the financial markets and a deep understanding of mid and small-cap research dynamics.
