JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES

- The Head of Equity Research will work to provide direction and outline activities to identify investment opportunities for clients as also providing continuous coverage on investments recommended to clients of the Organisation.

- Head will be responsible for planning, directing and presenting analysis to demonstrate and enhance the value of our research ideas to existing and prospective clients. This position will take an active role to lead a team of research analysts and set the tone for their performance and growth. The incumbent will also evaluate and perform periodic performance reviews of staff, helping to identify and plan for any need for training.

- Meet corporates in the sector as well as attend analyst meets and annual general meetings to expand his knowledge horizon.

- Brainstorm & formulate new investment ideas.

- Oversee the prepration of investment research reports and other reports like industry analysis, market scenario analysis etc.

- Communicate investment ideas to clients in the form of industry/company research reports, presentations and oral communication.

- Ensure timely and accurate dissemination of ideas to clients.

- Co-ordinate with sales and business development team, and other business verticals.
