The Head of Equity Capital Markets plays a strategic and leadership role in managing the team responsible for equity-related transactions.
This includes overseeing the pitch origination, structuring, and execution of equity offerings, as well as building and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Develop and execute the ECM strategy in alignment with overall business objectives and market trends.
- Provide strong leadership to the ECM team, setting goals, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Deal Origination and Execution:
- Oversee the origination, structuring, and execution of equity transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, block trades, and convertible securities.
- Work closely with the investment banking team, legal, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless deal execution.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with corporate clients, institutional investors, and other key stakeholders.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients seeking equity financing and advisory services.
Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting equity capital markets.
- Provide insights and recommendations to Senior Management based on market analysis.
