The Head of Enterprise Risk and Policy will champion the Enterprise Management framework through facilitating the execution of Enterprise Risk Management [ERM] processes and infrastructure as a key enabler to achieving the business objectives of the Bank.
Responsibilities
- Enterprise Risk Management Department strategic planning
- Enterprise risk management governance: Policies, procedures and standards
- Implementation of risk management framework in line with the Bank's ERM policies
- Managing the provision of administrative functions for the office
- Management of line staff and ensuring provision of ERM functions for the Bank
- Serving as the bank's advisor on risk and business continuity management issues
- Facilitate the organization's definition of risk appetite and tolerance, coordinate risk assessments
- Identify the operational and strategic risks, provide leadership to the Risk Committee
- Facilitate the prioritization of risks and identification of risk owners, and develop and communicate risk reports to management
Educational Qualifications & Experience Requirement
Essential Qualifications
- Masters in any of the following: Business Administration or Finance or Risk Management or ICT fields
OR CA or ACCA or CISA or CIA or equivalent
Essential Experience
- Minimum experience of 15 - 20 years, 8 of which should be at senior management level

Technical & Functional
- Strong business development skills
- Experience of working in a relationship management or client facing role handling Global banking customers
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of, or willingness to develop, a sound understanding of bank products and services, particularly with regards to the Financial Institutions sector.
- Experience of performing credit analysis of financial institutions desirable
- Ability to undertake in-depth review of industry, competitors, client and products and provide a high quality analysis of portfolio
