Head - Enterprise/Data & Analytics - NBFC

Job Responsibilities

- Creates a visionary architecture roadmap and organizational strategy to align Business and IT; leads and facilitates the design and implementation of technical solutions and processes related to technology architecture

- Defines the architecture principles, standards and guidelines regarding the proper use and deployment of business applications, data and technology within the Bank

- Supports company's enterprise information requirements: design, access, usage and coordination of stewardship across the business to ensure an enterprise view and consistency.

- Supports enterprise-level strategies for the integration of enterprise information by supporting corporate standards for data architecture, format, quality, and database design.

- Implements conceptual/logical data models based upon business processes and develops physical data models from logical models.

- Supports the design and implementation of relational databases, data warehouse, data mart, Epic Disease Registries and BOE Universe solutions as well as upholding the strategies for data acquisitions and database archival/recovery.

- Translates and delivers actionable, high-impact plans that improve data integration, data quality and data delivery in support of business initiatives and roadmaps to achieve results.

- Supports the implementation of standards and best practices involved in modeling, describing data entities and relationships, as well as supporting Metadata.

- Provides on-site and/or telephone support in accordance with organizational needs in a periodic, rotating 24x7 on-call schedule.

- Creates and manages the various key architecture assets for the designated portfolio and scope

- Partners with broader stakeholders in technology and business in defining architecture possibilities and futures

- Ensures sound and robust architecture and provide sufficient guidance for the successful implementation of solutions to mitigate any negative impact on Technology and Enterprise budget.

- Identifies and researches relevant technologies performs Proof of Concepts / Prototypes and recommends applications of such technologies to future product architectures

- Provides architectural expertise & domain knowledge to advise & guide senior leaders

- Actively leads data governance meetings (maybe as a non-voting member)

- Actively participates in setting technical direction of the styles of computing

Qualifications

- 15 +years of IT experience with about 10 plus years in data management with Prior experience in leading and managing data architecture teams.

- Should be passionate about data and analytics.

- Bachelors' /Masters' degree from an accredited college/university in business related or technology related field.

- Have strong experience in heterogeneous technologies in DW space (map/reduce, columnar DBs etc.,).

- Strong knowledge on Kafka, Elastic Search, Apache Hive, Spark, Storm, MapReduce, Couchbase, Hadoop, and Cassandra.

- Expert with Data warehouse architectures, data modeling, and data processing using distributed computing solutions

- Experience in all facets of software development life cycle like analysis, design, development, data conversion, data

- 10 years of conceptual, logical and physical data modeling experience (Relational & Dimensional).

- 3 years of experience in Reference, Master, and Metadata management.

- 3 years of experience in Data Quality and adherence to data standards and best practices.

- Experience in designing Data Warehouse and/or Data Lake using big data architecture.

- Experience in the cloud and on-prem integration architecture with ETL Tools like Data Stage, Informatica Data Quality and Snap Logic.

- Experience in service oriented architecture /micro services.

- Experience in NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB.

- Ability to think clearly, plan effectively, organize and schedule people or tasks to develop action plans leading to resolving problems and achieving specific goals.

- Self-driven, Innovative and strong leadership, and influencing skills. Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively.

- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Excellent Problem solving and critical thinking abilities.

Desired Qualifications

- Experience in DevOPs Continuous Integration I Continuous Delivery (Cl/CD) implementing cloud-based optimized development processes is a plus.
