Head of Engineering

Wisestep is on a mission to bring data-driven decision-making to the HR Tech space.

Our Head of Engineering guy will play a major role in streamlining engineering processes and contribute to Product Definition tactical planning.

As a Head of Engineering, you will be expected to work on the following major dimensions:

- Defining and aligning of the Product vision, strategy, and roadmap

- Be responsible for managing the Engineering processes and tools to maintain and scale a smooth enterprise-grade operation within budgets

- Be familiar with our tech stack to make decisions about vendors and frameworks

- Be a key contributor to strategic and tactical roadmap planning and product definition

- Participate in engineering design and architecture decisions

- Be focused on delivery, execution, and tactical engineering approach

- Learn about our product, Domain, process, and tools, and evaluate what can be done for us to build faster and better products

- Work Closely and understand each team's architecture and code to be able to provide adequate cross-system solutions to drive our business goals

Desired Experience / Background:

- Prior experience as a Senior Product Manager and in SaaS products

- 10+ years of strong experience in product management

- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a high level of operational excellence.

- The acumen for mentoring and growing team members

- Education from a Top tier College. MBA's preferred

- Prior experience in development in early stages of the career is a plus
