Head - Engineering & Product Development

Location : Delhi NCR

Role Summary :

- We are now looking to induct a Head of Product Development & Engineering for our Client which is a SAAS based Product Company.

- The Head of Product of Product Development & Engineering will direct the product management and engineering efforts, be the custodian of the product vision, own the product roadmap, and deliver world class products. Should be hands-on and enjoy solving deep technical issues.

- Be innovative and provide thought leadership. A passionate intrapreneur who will partner with us in building a High-end Technology product from India, which aims to be a Global leader in the P-A-S-S- (performance, availability, scalability and security) Assurance space.

Essential Responsibilities:

- Closely collaborate with the leadership team to define, guide, and develop the strategy and future roadmap of all the products.

- Through your deep understanding of our customers' challenges and close partnership with engineering, lead your team to build features that delight our customers.

- Lead and successfully deliver new products and enhance existing products in the space of application performance monitoring and engineering.

- Enhance ML/AI powered products in the AI Ops and Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) space

- Build and deliver new products using technologies like ML/AI

- Lead and successfully deliver new products and enhance existing products using J2EE technologies. Design-develop-test-deploy J2EE applications.

- Enhanced product delivery in Apache Spark and Kafka.

- Hands On with Data pipelines.

- Hands on with Linux Servers in UAT and Production.

- Play an important role in the success of the products

- Play an active role in winning business throughs pre-sales, product demos and engaging with customer at multiple levels

Skills & Experience :

- MBA / BE / B.Tech with 12-18 Years of experience with at least 10 years hands-on experience in the IT Product Development

- Proven track record of leading, developing, and scaling a world-class product

- A strong grasp of product management best practices (how to organize a roadmap, how to plan specific features, how to coordinate across teams, etc.), and engineering best practices (organizing teams, sprint execution, etc.), and a track record of converting those best practices into action

- Empathy for our customers and the ability to understand and prioritize their needs via user feedback, user research, experimentation, and data

- Experience in Java/ J2EE technologies like core java, Spring framework and other java technologies

- Experience in Analytics like - Node.js, Apache Kafka, Apache Storm, Apache Hadoop, Elastic Search

- Good experience of distributed systems, data infrastructure, & client/server architectures.

- Experience of using any of the one enterprise APM tools - Dynatrace, AppDynamics or New Relic is a

must.

- Experience of building APM products, Observability platform will be an added advantage.

- Experienced in defining and realizing end-to-end Technical Architecture for large scale IT Products

- Experience in creating and reviewing technical documents like Architecture blueprint, Design specifications, Deployment architecture etc.

- Good skills in at least one RDBMS (Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL) and NoSQL DB like Cassandra / Mongo DB

- Exposure to Agile methodologies & Continuous Integration Tools

- Good understanding of Cloud Hosted SaaS products - experience in working with any of AWS, Google or Azure cloud

- Good to have experience in Python and R as development languages with their frameworks like Pandas, matplotlib etc.

- Good to have development experience in statistical analysis, data modeling, algorithm development like linear regression, random forest and other classification methods.

- Good to have an experience on any of the front-end technologies like React.js, Angular.js etc.

- Inclination and ability to be hands-on and work side-by-side with engineers.

- Good Pre-sales experience and have played a key role in winning business along with the sales team.

- Solid business and strategic intuition

- A metrics-driven approach to product prioritization and feature and team performance

- Excellent communication, inter-personal, liaison and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
