Head of Engineering - Gaming Start-Up

Job Description :

- We are currently retained by a well backed growing Gaming Start-up to hire a Head of Engineering.

- We are looking for a young, dynamic, hands-on Technology Leader who preferably brings experience in Gaming Industry OR at least have a strong inclination and interest in Gaming.

- This role needs someone who can deal with ambiguity, knows how and when to push back and can meet aggressive timelines.

- Please note if you can't thrive in ambiguity then this role won't work for you.

- As a Tech leader, you will be responsible for providing overall technical guidance and leadership to the team and be fully accountable for the entire delivery.

- You will lead a skilled team of developers and work closely with quality engineers.

- The company comes out with various games and you will be responsible for ensuring these are delivered on time and with the quality needed.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define the technical vision, manage architecture, and help make the appropriate decisions.

- Act as a tech visionary for the organization and provide all the necessary tech leadership.

- Collaborates with the company's executive leadership to develop and meet organizational goals.

- Work closely with Cross-functional teams and Product heads to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.

- Lead and grow the technology team.

- Streamline processes to improve efficiency in building product solutions.

- Lead development of various games.

To fit the bill :

- Engineering degree from Tier 1 Institute.

- 7+ years of experience in which a minimum of 4 years of people management experience and have managed at least 20people.

- Strong stakeholder management expertise

- Exposure in working with early-stage startups.

- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and open to challenges.

- Preferably from gaming industry.
