JD: - You have a track record of successfully leading, inspiring and motivating Engineering teams with 100+ engineers that are both in-house and across geographies. - You have at least 15 years of experience covering best-in-class technologies across software and hardware from leading E-commerce businesses. - You're experienced with technologies we leverage: - Creating web & native applications that scale for millions of users - Web standards and web optimisation techniques; - Java (J2EE, Spring) and PHP programming languages - HTML, CSS (Sass, Less), JS (React, Node, Angular) - The Hybris commerce platform (optional, but a big plus) - The Oracle Retail applications suite (optional, but another plus) - You have successfully delivered product road maps and key milestones on-time, on-cost and on-quality and can demonstrate the ROI driven by these initiatives. - You deeply care about and can improve engineering quality and have transformed engineering practices. - You're excellent at prioritizing roadmap items and improving the estimation process. - You are an excellent communicator and can simplify any technology topic when communicating with key business stakeholders. - You are a master problem-solver, fantastic at ideating and building solutions for any business challenge and have successfully automated manual processes across E-commerce departments. - You're a pro at monitoring system performance and taking rapid action whenever anything's amiss. - You're as much of a doer as you are a leader.
