Client - A leading automobile manufacturing company Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Managing the Production activities for high technology Engine and Transmission shops comprising of mainly Machine shop, Assembly and testing shops. 2. Continuously work towards improving manufacturing efficiency for Quality and Transformation cost. 3. Training and guiding team of Engineers and work associates for achieving zero defect manufacturing by deploying & establishing world class practices & sustain them to meet Customer expectations. 4. This position will be managing, world class machine shop for AL castings and CI castings for Crankcases, GB housings, and cyl head 5. This position will undertake the operations of 100 % integrated assembly and testing shops for multiple type of gasoline and Diesel engines used on 2W, 3W and 4W. 6. This position is also responsible for Common cyl head machine shop and its automatic assembly line. 7. This position is responsible for all the types of Gear boxes manufacturing for 3W and 4W product variants used in PVPL .Implementation 8. This position will be responsible of meeting the JIT schedules of vehicle assembly plants. 9. Maintaining OHSAS standards in shops, ensuring workplace safety. 10. Maintaining best in class quality standards by ensuring, PDI, and warranty targets. 11. Meeting the budgeted Transformation cost by continuously optimizing on Manpower, Energy and Consumable consumptions, by deploying world class manufacturing techniques. Experience requirement: - 15 - 18 years of experience - Knowledge of machining process - Knowledge of Tooling, Fixture, and Inspection related - Quality processes, ISO / TS implementation & Customer orientation - Best practices like 5S, TPM, SPC, kaizen, etc.
