Head - Employee Relations

The Head of Employee Relations is a leadership role within the Personnel Department, responsible for spearheading the Employee Relations (ER) vertical.

The incumbent will manage statutory compliances, oversee litigation, guide the organization through regulatory frameworks, and manage outsourced/3rd party contract manpower.

KRA:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement the ER/IR strategy for the organization, aligning it with overall business objectives and HR goals.

- Build and maintain positive relationships with employee representatives, trade unions, and government agencies.

Statutory Compliance and Litigation Management:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, labor regulations, and company policies.

- Oversee the management of employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and termination processes

Regulatory Framework and Policy Development:

- Work with HR teams across the organization to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.

Outsourced/Contract Manpower Management:

- Develop and implement strategies for managing outsourced manpower, ensuring adherence to labor laws and company standards.

- Maintain relationships with third-party vendors for outsourced services related to employee relations.

Government Liaison:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for interactions with government agencies related to ER/IR matters.

- Build and maintain relationships with key government officials and stakeholders.

- Ensure timely submission of reports and compliance with regulatory requirements.
