- Responsible for defining, reviewing, and updating corporate Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards, guidelines and providing necessary technical support to ensure that all applicable standards are implemented across the organization and periodically monitor the progress

- Ensure compliance with all applicable legislations pertaining to Safety, Health, and Environment across the organization

- Develop and implement a framework for management of safety risks to enable the business to make informed decisions

- Provide regular updates and inputs to the top management of the organization for all decisions pertaining to functional operations to help them take effective decisions

- Drive and develop a EHS complaint culture in the organization.

- Drive effective EHS risk assessment and recommend mitigation initiatives and controls across the organization

- Investigate and analyse the incidents/ accidents within the organization and monitor the implementation of the corrective actions

- Liaison with concerned government authorities, chambers, organisations, consultants etc. and maintain professional relationship.

- Design and implement EHS training programs for all employees of the organization

- Develop the EHS communication strategy for the organization to ensure effective dissemination of information with respect to implementation of EHS norms, EHS issues, corrective measures taken etc. to internal and external stakeholders such as management, regulatory authorities, financial investors, and general public

- Conduct periodic meetings to discuss organization wide EHS related issues, EHS awareness improvement programs and overall EHS function performance

- Formulate the annual budget for EHS function and ensure adherence to the same through quarterly / monthly review. Formulate corrective action plans for deviations if any
