1. Lead the EHS team to achieve operation & maintenance of a healthy EHS system.

2. Conducting risk assessment using the tools like HAZOP study, Hazard identification risk assessment, what if analysis, job safety analysis, qualitative & quantitative risk assessments.

3. Conducting the PSSR for the inline process operation, equipment's, for the new plant & modification plants.

4. Issuing work permits related to Hot work, Height work, confined space, excavation work permits pertaining to IIVL project site work.

5. Conducting workplace monitoring study as per the ICGIH and factories act standard.

6. SOP preparation, review and approval pertaining to EHS department as per the Quality management system standard.

7. Preparation, Review, approval of URS, DQ, QRM, IQ, OQ, & support for PQ.

8. Initiation of purchase requisition form (PRF) for procurement related to EHS dept.

9. Keeping healthy working condition of the Multi gas detector, oxygen meter, lux meter, Noise dosimeter, Ambient air quality monitoring equipment's

10. Ensuring Maintenance of Fire hydrant system & Fire extinguisher, Fire alarm system are in healthy working condition

11. Ensuring the Maintenance of PPE, Safety Shower, First aid boxes.

12. Ensuring the safety rules & procedures followed by all the employees.

13. Statutory compliance of passenger lift, stacker & safety belt, Pressure vessels & KSPCB norms.

14. Conducting mock drill & EHS safety committee meeting.

15. Accident/Incident, investigation and monitoring

16. Conduct safety induction & fire training to new employees.

17. Ensuring the availability of MSDS for all the chemicals.

18. Monitoring operation & maintenance of ETP & STP plant.

19. Compliance to Air, Water and hazardous waste consent order condition.

20. Maintenance and Calibration of ambient air quality & noise level measuring devices.

21. Upkeep of documents pertaining to EHS and compliance to statutory and statutory norms.

22. Preparation of EHS procedure and guidelines pertaining to ITC indivision

23. Coordination with HR & Admin for employee's Annual health checkup.

24. Preparing the vendor agreement for hazardous waste disposal.

25. Optimization of water and wastewater management.

26. Coordination with a cross functional team for new process safety analysis.

27. Preparation of sustainability report EMS report.

28. Execution of modification works compliance to safety norms.

29. Conducting monthly safety inspection and closure of points.

30. Preparing the EHS training planner & completing the EHS training as per the planner.

31. Monitoring of emergency safety cupboard inspection of (SCBA, ELCB, Fire axe, Fire suit, Aluminum ladder, Water gel blanket) etc.

32. Monitoring of Spill control Kit in all the available areas.

33. Hazardous waste disposal of company as per the KSPCB norms & dispose to approved KSPCB vendors only.
