- Inspire, encourage, and support faculty with creative and sustainable research and technology solutions that support teaching and learning.
- Cultivate an environment that encourages creative and independent use of instructional technology throughout the school
- Work with the principals and technology committee in the development and continued evolution of a scope and sequence for technological and information literacy skills and ensure that technology and information skills are being taught in alignment with the scope and sequence
- Help define and develop the role of technology and information literacy in the classroom as it promotes and supports the mission of the school
- Design, coordinate and provide instructional technology in-service opportunities for students, faculty and staff including in-service opportunities for new and returning faculty during the last weeks of August
- Provide skill development in the areas of technology and information literacy for students, through partnering with faculty, direct classroom instruction, and outside the classroom in groups or individually
- Create clear understandings among faculty/staff/administrators regarding the services provided by the Educational Technology Manager and the IT department
- Respond to (and solicit) faculty requests for assistance in the integration of technological and information literacy skills that enhance the educational experience for students into their curricula
- Maintain a broad knowledge of the curriculum across departments to help faculty identify areas best suited for collaboration across and within departments
