The job holder will be responsible to play a central role in transforming business into an - Ecommerce retailer- by driving development of strategies, pilots and repeatable processes that achieve this goal and will be responsible for developing P&L of Ecommerce business for Home Box.
Strategy Management (Ecommerce & Omni Channel)
- Own and develop the P&L for the E-commerce business
- Contribute to, update and maintain Home Box's Ecommerce vision and provide intellectual leadership and partnership to the cross-functional initiative teams responsible for executing that vision
- Ownership/maintenance of integrated plan, providing structure and discipline in ecommerce processes during company transformation
- Identify, manage and - unblock- cross-functional and cross-initiative issues
- Develop a process and framework for tracking overall ecommerce initiatives
- Adopt, utilize and drive a change management framework for working through new initiatives
- Establish strong collaborative working relationships with internal business partners including IT & Web Team, Buying & Planning, Retail Store Operations, Logistics & Inventory, Marketing, Finance and Human Resources
- Drive process improvement projects, including current state assessment, improvement opportunity identification and solution definition in a team-based environment
- Manage the development and implementation of pilot projects, coordinating with multiple stakeholders and business partners to drive decision-making and in-store implementation
- Lead the online merchandising to ensure the assortments are competitive, efficient and maximize the sales potential for the total business
- Manage Inventory levels to maximize in-stock and customer satisfaction while minimizing the amount of inventory
- Analyse the competition to ensure that we have a winning assortment and look for opportunities where we can grow the business profitably
- Analyse data to understand your target customer so that you can select products and merchandise them in a way to inspire purchase
- Create effective promotional calendars in-line with the offline business that drive sales and achieve budgeted profit targets
- Leverage all digital and non-digital marketing channels to maximize ROI for all channels of the business and drive Ecommerce awareness
- Establish successful cross-functional relationships to achieve goals while working collaboratively with all stakeholders
- Integrate the best practices of content into the business
- Leverage your brand's network of brick and mortar stores to achieve e-commerce and omni-channel objectives.
Desired Profile:
- Post Graduate in Business, Marketing or Communications from Premiere School.
- 10-12 years of relevant e-commerce experience from an industry-leading omni-channel retailer, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Knowledge of emerging technologies
- Experience or working knowledge of digital commerce, retail, customer service, order management/fulfilment processes and mobile commerce
- Demonstrated track record of taking ownership of significant projects and strategy implementation
- Strong Analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
- Ability to work with and influence peers and senior and executive management
- Ability to work in fast paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Self- motivated with critical attention to detail
