The vision of company is to be the leading e-commerce business in MENA region specializing in entertainment and related categories including consumer electronics and lifestyle products. Expansion into digital products and services pertaining to the same categories has been a major focus and will continue to be so to keep pace with the rapid development in the media and entertainment industry.

Job Profile

1) P&L responsibility for the business in all the categories and how to improve the margins and top line.

2) Ideas on how to move the business forward. i.e how does he see the online market developing in the region in terms of the trends and categories we offer.

3) Understanding of the online business and marketing tactics used to convert the traffic into orders.

4) Offline marketing implementation and spear heading tie ups with institutions.

5) Understanding the analytics and how to use them to improve the stats.

6) Spear heading the campaign offering from each category and to decide on the best methodology for the communication of the same.

7) Understanding the operations for the business and improving the same.

8) Identifying the tactics that work for the site and enhancing them at the same time letting go of the campaigns that do not deliver results.

9) Raising Capital based on performance be it from current shareholders or from Venture capital

10) Identifying the requirements of the company and corresponding with the CMS service provider to develop and implement the same.

11) Constantly look at the cost structure and come up with ways to lower the same.

12) Critically look at the customer service team and find ways to improve the same.

13) Critically analyze the supply chain along with the category heads and improve the same.

Preferred Background

- A Master’s degree from a reputed institution.

- Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience in e-commerce business in a senior management role.

- Proven ability in budgeting and maximizing ROI

- Proven ability in budgeting and maximizing ROI

- General knowledge and interest in Consumer Electronics, Movies, Music and Games.

- Understanding of digital / online media usage and practices.
