Head Distribution Industrial

One of our prestigious German MNC Client is looking for Head Distribution Industrial Segment (GM or VP Level) based at Baner - Pune (Corporate Office)

Regarding Business : Industrial segment distribution business is around 1000 crore and serve to different segment as two wheeler, tractor, off road vehicles, different manufacturing domain like pump, compressor, engines, any rotating equipments, railways etc

Education : BE with MBA preferred

Experience : 20+ years experience in hardcore distribution

Reporting to : President Industrial & MD

Reported by : Team of people from Strategy & BD as well as regional distribution staff

Job Role : To develop and manage Distribution Network in line with organization goals.

Job Description:

1. Business Development that includes maintaining relations with existing customer accounts and increase of market share with existing Distribution Partner and develop maintain key partners and New Partners.

2. Market Penetration by aggressive coverage supporting branch management.

3. Assign targets to regions and distributors and devise incentive plan.

4. Cascade the targets for Industrial Distributors to end customers and define steps to achieve Sales Target > Driving steps to improve profitability in Segment through mix, Localization drive etc.

5. Relationship building with distributors and constant improvement in their Common Distribution Expansion and Development

6. Aligning regional distributors with Global distribution network.

7. New customer acquisitions through Distributions

8. Responsible for Sales and collection on month to month basis in line with the organization goals. >Responsible for creating core program for distribution.

9. Responsible for New Product Development required for Industrial After Market.

10. Conducting Branding Initiative In Distribution Market to improve Company SOB.

11. Formulation of Business Document for Distribution , outlining incentives and disbursement of same on timely basis

12. Responsible for DSO for Distributional business and ensure sales team collect payments in time.

13. Monitor and control expense related to travelling , sales promotion and communication

14. Prepare , Plan and be responsible for realizing the budget.

15. Contributing towards continuous improvement activities especially with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction.

16. Arranging Sales Meet, Distributor Meet.

Skill & Knowledge required:

- Knowledge of Company products (bearing & Engine components) and their application would be preferred.

- Additional necessary application knowledge or experiences:

- Experience and knowledge in handling distribution business for a multinational organization would be required.
