Our client is international financial institution with a significant presence in India including its global Group Reporting team. Due to an internal promotion an opportunity has arisen as the Head of Regulatory reporting. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well regarded and market leader within the global financial services sector. Some of the key responsibilities will include: - Being the lead of the regulatory reporting function and being the escalation point - Identifying operations process gaps and looking at improving the reporting process - Managing relationships with key stakeholders globally - Being a regulatory reporting subject matter expert to understanding the impact of any regulatory changes on any associated legal entity. To be eligible for this role you will require: - Effective understanding of global accounting standards (USGAAP and IFRS), Excellent experience and understanding of regulatory regimes - Being pro-active and able to adapt quickly to stakeholder requests in an ever developing regulatory environment - Extensive, proven experience in financial services with solid technical accounting and reporting knowledge - Strong and longstanding management experience and experience leading a high-performance team.
