Head - Human Resources PAN India POSITION AT THE ORGANIZATION: HR Director India Department: Human Resources Reporting directly to: PAN INDIA CEO Functional Reporting line to: EVP HR in the Holding MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - Contributes to the development of the local business strategy as a member of the Management. - Leads and executes the HR strategy at PAN India level in alignment with business strategy and the regional HR strategy ensuring effective talent acquisition, talent management, rewards and retention strategies are developed and executed. - Actively works on short, mid and longer term talent and succession planning to build a strong and sustainable regional organization both for the business and HR - Leads the local HR team and build a sustainable and high performing HR organization in India. - Originates human resources activities to support business objectives depending on company vision, mission and values, as well as legal regulations. - Liaise with Employee Relations Director on IR related activities to ensure that necessary actions are there to comply union activities - Establishes current and long-term objectives, and operating procedures, in line with group HR policies, that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and ongoing development of a superior workforce. - Represents the company and its values in its relationships with authorities, and professional bodies. - Plans, organizes, directs, controls and develops all human resources activities including: - Staffing and recruitment - Performance management - Training and development - Career management - Employee relations - HR Operations - Selects key people, builds and leads teams to achieve goals, market share, revenue levels, cost reductions, and/or operational efficiency. - Delivers targets to his subordinates, evaluates their performances in compliance with established company policies. - Audits periodically all the records of HR department. - Monitors the functional improvement in the world and India, benchmarks other companies- HR implementations for improvement, and shares them with the management and his team. - Recommends and maintains an organizational structure and staffing levels to accomplish company goals and objectives. - Works in coordination with Head of the departments and Planning Department to plan manpower and to implement the manpower planning system in accordance with company policies and legal procedures. - Prepares and follows the staffing budget in accordance with business objectives and business plan, makes suggestions to reduce staffing costs. - Plans &amp; manage recruitment and redundancy services that meet the company needs. Selects and administers recruitment methods/tools such as tests, interviews. Determines competencies, qualifications, job descriptions and key performance indicators based on each job. Creates company recruitment and selection plan according to the indicators. - Act as a lead member of the HR team (IR, HRBP, HR Managers) supporting the development of/and execution of Global HR priorities in India. - Keep up to date and adapt as required to external HR trends, market practice and competitive actions. - Manage PAN India HR budget. POSITION REQUIREMENTS - University degree, preferable with Specialization in HR - At least 15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of core Business partnering and HR team leadership role - Experience in HR business partnering in an international and matrix environment. - Experience developing and implementing Talent Management, Staffing, Leadership development, Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness - Strong consultancy, enquiry skills and change management skills. - Good appreciation of Compensation and Labor Relation challenges in India - Good communication, influence and relationship building skills, inspiring trust and confidence from their business partners - Strong project management and implementation skills
