About the firm :

- It was founded in 2011. In 2014, the company became the first India-focused startup to be funded by Y-Combinator. It has offices in New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru and has been used by nearly 1.5 million Indian taxpayers to e-file their tax returns.

- In April 2016, company received $1.3 million of seed funding from Silicon Valley investors, including PayPal co-founder Max Levchin and Scott Banister, who was an early investor in Facebook and Uber. Later on in May 2016, it has received a second round of funding of $2 million from Sequoia Capital and Founders Fund.

We are looking for young, energetic & prospective candidates for the role of HR - Head which is Designated as Director & would be reporting to COO.

Below mentioned is the description :

- The main focus of this position is to provide Human Resources expertise for the firm in it's growth phase. The person will be a member of the leadership team and will bring in new developmental initiatives and ensuring successful implementation of the firm strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement effective HR initiatives and strategies that drive company culture - Organizational Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Communication, Training & Development, Performance Management, HRIS

Talent Acquisition : Develop the strategy for Talent fulfillment/Recruitment & required to ramp-up the Headcount as per the vision.

Policies and Procedures : Execute the strategic direction of HR, including implementation of high value-added HR policies and processes that support business goals and objectives.

Employee Interaction & Engagement : To lay down guidelines for employee On-boarding, development, career growth and succession plans.

Statutory Compliance and Policy Administration : To ensure compliance with employee-related legal / statutory requirements.

HR Effectiveness : Ensure that HR processes are in par with the best practices and efficient in producing results and are in line with the internal audit standards. Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict free workplace.

Compensation & Benefits : Bench marking Salaries and advising management in case of market corrections.

Performance Management : Facilitate effective performance management by ensuring objectives and targeted development plans and performance action plans are set.

- Participate in the Performance Appraisal Cycle. Involve in Identifying Gaps, evaluating potential solutions, implementing changes, Coaching and Counseling the Managers and Employees.

- To foster a conducive working environment through employee relations activities and communication.

- To support the growth, retention & development needs for the company.

- To develop and implement successful Human Resources systems that supports the long term growth and transformation of the organization.

Position Requirements :

Functional Requirements :

- Graduate / Post Graduate from a premier institute with a minimum of 7-9 years experience post qualification.

- Should have experience of working in a Startup company.

- Strong experience of leading the Human Resource function with exposure to end to end HR sub functions.

- Must have experience in managing multi location employee base with high sensitivity and emotional intelligence.

- Should have exposure in working in a high growth and dynamic industry environment.
