Head of HR Technology - Director - Chennai (FEMALE ONLY) Looking for a seasoned HR Technology professional to be based at Chennai. Underpinning the delivery of these priorities will be the transformation of our processes, data and technology. For each priority, HR Technology &amp; Change will seek to simplify processes and ensure they have clear ownership and transparency whilst creating one source of truth through complete and accurate data and use of simplified flexible technology that integrates into the broader IT landscape. - HR Technology &amp; Change is dedicated to implementing new processes, technology and analytics that will underpin how HR operates and improve the business interaction with HR. Part of the team's role is to focus on the Digital Colleague Experience - to deliver amazing digital interactions for our clients, customers and colleagues. About the role: Head of HR Technology- (Director) - Local teams of approximately 70 resources in HR Technology and local oversight for team members. - Accountable for the teams delivering HR change spanning Technology, Data and MI workstreams. - Role involves the hiring and integration of the teams, leadership of the local management team, setting of objectives and migration of end to end responsibility for programs to Pune. Objective setting, performance management and compensation all included within responsibilities. - Role has responsibility for planning, design and execution of the work end to end, and is accountable for execution to plan and budgets accordingly. Responsible for escalation and resolution of all program and people issues locally for the teams; who in turn matrix report into the London based leadership of HR Technology and Change. - Role has a seat at the HR Technology management table, and on the local Functions management table. The role will focus on the following: 1. Work directly with IT teams and other departments to lead the delivery of the change program 2. Management and leadership of the local teams; responsible for escalation and resolution of key issues with the UK based teams. 3. Candidate needs to have experience of building large scale systems: operational data stores, data warehouses, ETL, distribution, web services etc 4. Role will be accountable for ensuring the development team are putting into practise design and build standards 5. Role will be responsible for clearly identifying roles and responsibilities within the development team and ensuring that the leads in each discipline are reviewing deliveries and understand success criteria. 6. Stakeholder management of the key HR and business partners (lead all senior routines, attendance and leadership of infrastructure steering routines, definition of governance) for projects owned end to end. 7. Work with HR stakeholders and Transformation teams on the development of target operating model. 8. Accountable for technical design and component delivery and ensuring solution is - fit for purpose- and fits with broader strategic direction and architecture framework. 9. Responsible for the development of the platform and delivery/testing to required spec and standard. 10. Responsible for team delivering to the firm's technology and infrastructure standards and best practice. 11. Ensure reporting, governance, roles and responsibilities and program MIS is delivered to required standards. 12. Responsible for deliver to agreed milestones and deadlines, with particular focus on the regulatory/mandatory elements of the program. 13. Development of location strategy holistically with Functions, Transformation and Infrastructure. Key lead in engaging directly with all stakeholders to achieve coherent strategy for HR Technology that aligns with the broader requirements and direction of Bank. 14. Develop efficiencies and scale through implementation and execution of LEAN and Dev Ops. 15. Team development; training, succession, development and people promotion/mobility all autonomously lead and managed in this role. Key Accountabilities - Building, hiring, mobilising and moving individuals to create successful and high performing teams - Leads the capability development of all areas covering Technology, Process, Data and MI - Setting the direction, prioritisation and agenda for the technology teams and providing the required leadership to the team. - Own the change agenda- ; be a real partner with our business on the shaping and design of HR solutions. - Take responsibility for the - change mechanics- (definition of routines, governance, documentation, escalation etc) - Own and directly manage key stakeholder relationships - On time delivery to required standards and specification. - Communication; both with team, stakeholders and numerous internal partner functions (i.e. Finance, Risk, Operations etc) - Planning, Tracking and Reporting of deliverables.
