Head - Direct & Indirect Tax - CA/LLB - FMCG

1. Manage Direct and Indirect taxation related activities - including tax planning, tax compliance support and monitoring, tax litigation, internal customer support - for the organization.

2. Ensure timely and correct payment of Indirect and Direct Tax, filing of direct and indirect tax returns, regulations compliance.

3. Drive specific initiatives towards long term tax optimization.

4. Train functional teams on compliance of tax related policies and procedures

5. Self- sufficient, capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision.

6. Tax Compliance and Litigation management Plan and review the assessments/ audits of tax- liability by the tax authorities. Plan and monitor filing of appeals before the Appellate Authority and preparation of legal and factual aspects.

7. Ownership of State Tax and Excise

8. People Manager - Managing the team in taxation department to ensure compliance with Direct and Indirect taxes. Transaction advisory in compliance with tax Laws

9. Ensuring Tax awareness and Communication to Business and Finance Team

10. Keeping Business abreast with the Global tax matters

Experience:

- CA and CA / LLB with 15 years experience handling Direct as well as Indirect Tax - heading Taxation for a large organization preferably handled multiple plants and its subsidiaries.

- Experience if working with India listed entity is preferred
