Head - Direct Farmer Purchase - Internet/Online

In terms of sourcing, we procure through collection centers (direct from farmers), Vendors, local market & national mandis. On the direct farmer purchase side, we have 6 collection centers to reach out to farmers and procure from them on daily basis. These are located around Bangalore (within 100 kms)

- We are looking for a someone to lead the entire "Direct Farmer purchase" piece and build a strong network of farmers.

- This would be one of the interesting role as you would work directly with the farmers and impact their lives in a positive way. Your role would be around three major areas and major KRA would be delivering 100%

Fulfilment & Margin targets :

Daily fulfilment :

- Ensure sourcing of 30+ vegetables and fruits for daily requirements across collection centers

- Ensure 100% fulfilment

- Ensure margin targets are achieved

Farmer network :

- Build a strong network of farmers who can sell it to us consistently

- Build a robust pipeline to procure 30+ vegetables and fruits daily and ensure we have assured supply for next one week / one month

- Provide a strong knowledge base and recommendations to farmers on end to end farming - what to grow, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc

- Build a one-stop-solution for all farmer needs in collection centers

Partnership farming :

- Identify large scale farmers who can grow exclusively for us

- Provide them with seeds and other inputs to ensure we produce quality products

- Help the farmer in the entire crop life cycle
