Head - Digital Partnership - Bank

An opportunity with an MNC Bank.

This is a key role within the Digital team, with significant accountabilities. There are few constraints and the imagination and strategic foresight to identify and create these new relationships is critical. Scope will include :

- Partnership strategy : strategic planning for India Digital, business development with partnership India Digital ecosystem players - Fintech companies, E-Commerce players, Aggregators, Social platforms etc and defining overall ecosystem partnership needs.

- Business Development : Identifying how, where and with whom we can build scale customer acquisition and new product opportunities

- Partnership delivery : building a delivery way of working that leverages the significant investments and way of working that exist but also knowing when we need to do something different to succeed

- Partnerships business management : define and manage the operations model for working with partners in both BAU and new venture POV.

- Corporate Development : driving strategic level corporate development conversations that could lead to new ventures, segments and customer opportunities.

- Driving innovation in the Digital space, building on existing services and developing new Digital assets which align with the business and Marketing strategy

Impact on the Business :

- Develop and deliver an India digital partnership strategy and execution

- Significant new customer acquisition and revenue streams

- Create focus for fast moving new business models,, platforms and ecosystems

- Use innovative styles and resources to support new business ideas entering the market

- Be accountable for delivering sales and service targets

- Create business requirements and approach for Digital projects

Qualifications/Requirements :

- In depth experience of defining digital ecosystems or partnerships (either within financial services industry or other industries, preferably with a large digital component, or start-up style companies).

- Candidates will be expected to have a track record of successfully delivering tangible improvements through user led design, prototyping, working in Agile environment

- Excellent knowledge of Fintech landscape and trends to quickly identify potential partnership or acquisition partners

- India market experience, preferably includes other Asian or global markets

- Proven extensive experience with building and delivering a modern digital execution capability with tangible outcomes (e.g. demonstrated by increase in conversion rates, lower cost of acquisition)

- Extensive experience with the range of business development activities including identifying opportunities and developing business cases, defining product or service requirements, engaging a wide range of functional experts to agree deployment approach, project execution, launch, and post launch performance measurement and management

- Experience in global or regional roles, working effectively to deliver targets in a large, matrix organisation

- Comfortable with technology including ability to translate business and customer needs to IT requirements

- Competent with project planning and reporting

- Demonstrates flexibly when addressing shifting or competing priorities

- Proven ability to build strong relationships across stakeholder groups and manage third parties

- Proven ability to influence large teams with direct leadership authority

- Able to share responsibility for key decision making with a team, while accepting responsibility to drive internal decision-making processes.

- Masters degree or equivalent preferable
