Role : Head of Digital Marketing (Foods / FMCG)

Location : Mumbai

Reporting to : Head Marketing

Co is looking for Head of Digital Marketing (Foods/FMCG) to lead a talented digital marketing team on its mission to deliver an exceptional traffic growth and drive business results.

In this role you create, own and accelerate our digital marketing strategy. You- ll be deeply involved in defining and executing the evolution of our SEO/SEM/SMO/Content marketing strategy. You- ll contribute to the digital marketing strategy, translate the strategy into detailed action plan, and lead the cross functional delivery of the strategy, driving all initiatives through the successful business results defined at different point in time.

Responsibilities :

- Develops and implements ongoing strategies to optimize Co Website for high organic search placement within local search engines.

- Provides ongoing SEO consultation and strategic insights to Brand and product teams.

- Monitors changing search landscape and competitive trends for implications to enterprise SEO strategies.

- Identifies, evaluates, tests and executes new opportunities to promote co in domestic and global search engines and search-related platforms.

- Manages and/or conducts customer needs assessment and competitive analysis

- Works with agencies to explore and test new opportunities and to plan for online growth

- Develops business cases in support of new search marketing initiatives.

- Develops and secures annual program budget request; manages program within budget during the year.

- Responsible for achieving annual natural search booking and ROI targets for all Co websites.

- Develops an enterprise-wide strategy & training schedule for ensuring SEO guidelines and best practices are incorporated into new and existing processes and projects.

- Defines and communicate SEO-related strategy and goals to cross-functional development teams

- Expands SEO efforts to future global sites as necessary.

- Define best practices to optimize content within relevant social spaces

- Support all keyword targets through integration within key social channels

- Regularly reviews and analyzes performance of natural search efforts against goals; recommends strategy changes as needed.

- Communicate program results to appropriate internal and external stakeholders, building consensus towards further expansion aimed at optimal profitability.

- Leverages Analysis resources to mine website data, syndicated research, and other customer insight tools to develop optimization strategies for reaching customer targets.

- Cultivates and manages relationships with key stakeholders to drive endorsement and adoption of global SEO programs.

Requirements :

Minimum 10 years of work experience, including 5+ years in digital marketing required ideally in Internet sales/ eCommerce/ online marketing in positions that have directly impacted increased online revenues.

- Experience managing large national or international accounts.

- Five (5) or more years of managerial experience, supervising and mentoring staff

- Deep knowledge of online measurement, tracking methods, and analysis.

- Demonstrated ability to take complex projects and efforts from conception to successful execution.

- Must have a global perspective. International work experience & multiple language skills preferred.

- Experience establishing and managing large budgets.

- Hands-on skills and experience in eCommerce marketing, specifically Search Engine Optimization strategy and tactics.

- Demonstrates self confidence, energy and enthusiasm.

- Effective written and oral communications skills. Sensitivity to global communication needs. Foreign language skills a plus.

- Ability to solve problems quickly, think creatively, and satisfy Internet speed-to-market requirements.

- Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.

- Team player that works well with counterparts from various functions/departments and has the ability to influence the work of counterparts without direct reporting accountability.
