Head - Digital Marketing & Branding - B2C Channel - FMCG/Building Material/Product Industry
Education : Graduation + Masters specialization in Marketing from Premier B-Schools
Marketing :
- Strategic planning including market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, and product positioning (cross selling and upselling)
- Work with MD and SBU heads to identify and develop strategic alliances and close/grow major customer accounts.
- Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies that consistently meet or exceed planned objectives. Convert sales opportunity by strategic marketing - branding, positioning and creative development.
- Develop and manage the Company's entire marketing budget.
- Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities.
Business support :
Work closely with SBU heads to :
- Develop and manage channel and partner strategies and programs, with a view to maximize sales and realization thru the SBU Marketing Manager.
- Oversee product management including market and customer research for the market and product requirements
- Interface with engineering for product development, product pricing and product lifecycle management.
- Oversee product marketing including product launch management, presentations, sales tools, competitive analysis and general sales support.
- Design and develop the ATL as well as BTL activities for the various BUs to enhance Sales
Digital Marketing :
- Develop & drive digital strategy, including content marketing and social media activity. Enhance the Digital Marketing initiatives of the organization
- Identify the emerging trends in the building material and construction space through consumer/customer/influencer insight, mapping global trends etc. to spot new business ideas for the company.
- Identify target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Know how to apply a multi-channel marketing mix when planning campaigns
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
- Championing the Digital Marketing initiatives to engage customers, influencers, etc.
- Develop and lead HIL's social media Communications strategy and lead a more creative approach to online Communications.
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Branding:
- Manage internal communications to improve the employment engagement scores
- Support the organization with new product launches, JVs, M&As, etc.
- Engagement with media houses and media channels.
- Lead the CSR activities for the organization and deriving the maximum mileage from the funds allocated
- Oversee marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, trade shows, seminars, collateral materials, analyst and market research management, and website design & content.
- Be the architect of the brand. Protect and grow it.
- Work closely with Agencies to convert the mission & Vision statement into marketing and branding initiatives.
- Provide strategic inputs and drive internal & external communications & PR

- Experience in B2B and B2C channels of marketing
- Consumer research (Qualitative & Quantitative) ; concept briefing to analyzing the results & drawing effective strategy.

- Good knowledge of website analytics tools
- Corporate communication.
