Head - Digital Engineering & Innovation - FinTech

1. Responsible for mapping business objectives to an optimum engineering structure, including correct estimation of resource allocation.

2. Responsible for key technical and product decisions.

3. Work closely with the Head new Product & Digital innovation Team or business team and clients and help them in getting relevant inputs from the engineering team/Vendor team.

4. Talk to the management, production, and marketing employees to discuss project specifications and procedures.

5. Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

6. Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

7. Lead engineering team(s) or Digital teams or vendor to ship high-quality software on predictable schedules during our product cycles, partnering closely with Product Managers to cut scope and continuously deliver software in a lean way

8. Manage the context in which team members operate, including

a) Representing the team/vendor in planning meetings.

9. Maintain a strong and up-to-date understanding of the challenges and opportunities your team is facing building and deploying software.

10. Participate in the hiring and onboarding of engineers or Vendor team.

Profile Requirements:

- A strong product background with Fin-tech experience

- A very sound understanding of payment technologies and view on the evolving technology landscape in this space

- 8-15 years of experience with familiarity with Java technology stack

- Must have BE (CSE)/ B. Tech stream, added advantage M. Tech.

- Must have - C++/Java, Node-JS/React-JS, and Micro-services.

- Must have - Architectural Knowledge and Experience on products.

- Must have - High volume processing Solution development & Implementation experience throughout the project to ensure that the objectives are met

- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure maximum participation Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables

- Play pro-active role, owns the project and the problem and demonstrate technical capabilities and leadership qualities

- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to build strategic plans to grow customer accounts

- Familiarity with Digital Consumer Banking , Corporate Banking and Payments Domain

- Must have executed at least one project on either Internet or Mobile Banking Experience in Agile Development methodologies and familiar with relevant tools like Jira , Microsoft Project etc

- Experience with the Java Stack and Cloud frameworks (AWS), Experience in Conversational AI / Chatbots a big plus

- Proficient in creating project plans and tracking them to deliver results on time.

- Proficient in verbal communication skills including presentation to large audiences Ability to effectively present information to team members and management, customers and prospects.

- Software Product development experience in Payment domain and Fintech industry.

- Develop financial solutions that use technology in innovative ways.

- Explain all aspects of a financial technology solution clearly and concisely to stakeholders, including why a certain technology would be relevant to a financial organization, and demonstrate awareness of the effect it might have on business.
