Job Description :

The Head of DevOps & Infrastructure will report to the CTO and manage a team of 4-5 highly skilled engineers.

Client Details :

Our client is one of the largest growing companies in the space of Internet Gaming. They have scaled up at a rapid pace with more than 50% YOY increase in revenue. With multiple products on mobile and web platforms, they are looking to hire a Head of DevOps & Infrastructure with extensive exposure in setting up a highly efficient CI/CD pipeline with a strong focus on AWS.

Description :

Reporting directly to the CTO, the responsibilities would include :

- Entire infrastructure including Products, Platforms and Office IT.

- Manage the production systems and operations including SysAdmin, DB activities and L2/L1 operations.

- Coordinate across Dev, QA, Product, and Stakeholders in maintaining pre-production setup and performing integration sanity and UAT for ongoing feature deployments.

- Improve tools and processes, automate manual efforts, and maintain health of the system.

- Establish the practices of build, release and documentation.

- Maintain security of the system.

- Maintain the developer staging environments.

Profile :

- B.Tech/B.E. from a premier engineering institute

- 12+ years experience in DevOps/Technical Operations (4+ years in techno-management) with 2+ years in maintaining medium to large production setups

- Excellent knowledge of Linux OS and scripting (Python, Bash)

- Excellent knowledge of AWS

- Good knowledge of system automation (Ansible), networking and various tools used for CI/CD, monitoring, infrastructure management

- Exposure to various databases (MySQL, NoSQL), security tools and programming languages like Java, NodeJS
