- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a reputed university.
Experience Required:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in the field of Rotating Machines.
- Preferred domain experience in Traction Motors, Industrial Machines, Induction Machines, or DC Motors.

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Product Origination: Develop new products based on customer needs, business models, global markets, and preferences.
2. Design Selection: Choose appropriate design concepts and fundamental technologies for new products or improvements to existing ones.
3. Project Planning: Plan and formulate research and development proposals, including project objectives, applications, costs, and resource requirements.
4. NPD Support: Support and lead New Product Development (NPD) projects from concept to post-release, ensuring adherence to company NPD processes.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Conduct cross-functional meetings, design reviews, and other collaborative activities as necessary.
6. Design Responsibility: Take responsibility for all aspects of design, including specifications, CAD models, drawings, tolerance analysis, and robustness.
7. Design Validation: Coordinate design validation activities, including prototyping, lab testing, field testing, pilot build, and initial production.
8. Documentation: Create and maintain accurate pre-release documentation, including drawing packages, Bill of Materials (BOM), and product specifications.
9. Manufacturing Improvement: Support plant efforts to improve manufacturing methods based on product design, materials, and parts knowledge.
10. Concept Development: Develop new concepts for product development and ensure technical compatibility for turning concepts into real products.
11. Project Planning: Prepare comprehensive project plans with technical objectives and cost estimates.
12. Innovation: Provide innovative ideas, concepts, and methods to support backup services.
13. Regulatory Compliance: Analyze and assess design prototypes to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
14. Prototype Approval: Approve prototypes of new designs, conduct performance analysis, and ensure product assembly meets quality parameters.
15. Technology Development: Develop new technology and devices for testing the functionality of new products in the target market.
16. Project Management: Administer the progress of assigned projects and document project proposals and associated activities.
