Head of Design - from a B2C product background | Female Candidate We are looking for a design head to join our team. The responsibilities include interpreting briefs and turning them into creative solutions, delivering high-quality products, overseeing design teams, and troubleshooting design problems. - Identify UX problems and devise elegant solutions / strategic designs to solve these problems (e.g. usability, findability). - Design the overall functionality of the product, and in order to ensure a great user experience. - Ultimately, you will make the product more user friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers. - Developing strategic design plans with projected timelines and budgets. - Hiring, developing, and inspiring the design team - Hold meeting to discuss needs and the design elements required. - Responsible for managing and developing design, user flow diagram, wireframes, prototype, and interactive design, etc. - To be a successful design director, you should be able to adhere to tight deadlines and manage budget constraints to deliver a great product and experience. Ultimately, a top-notch design director should have strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.Here you will be defining solutions for a diverse set of personas. - Imagine a solution that fits for a user traveling in a metro or a user sitting in a remote village near Patna or a user traveling in a Vistara plane. Difficult? But I am sure it is exciting and challenging at the same time. What we are talking is creating solutions that cater to a different set of personas and how each set of persona behaves put in different use cases. For e.g. a user when he is accessing the ecosystem in a mall v/s a train or a plane. Skills: - Understands Customer journey, Strong in Design, User Interface and User Experience, UI/UX, Experience in handling applications. - 8+ years of UI/UX experience with 3+ years in managing a team of UI, UX guys - Mix of B2B & B2C experience is a plus - Candidate from Tier 1 Design institutes - NID, IIT IDC, Symbiosis, MIT Pune or similar Reporting to: Co-founder. Team size: 4 currently, can hire / add more as required. Work Location: Bangalore. Number of Working days: Five. Work from Office preferred, if required can be worked around.
