Head - Design Engineering - Auto/OEM

Roles & Responsibilities:

1.Facilitate entire standardization management procedure from creation to updation functions.

2.Monitor drawings management functions from receiving, verification, study, printing & storage to distribution

3.Act as a Custodian of Drawings

4.Set procedures & monitor knowledge dissemination for technical updates

5.Provide Technical Assistance management for New Product Introduction

6.Formalize procedures for deviation approvals

7.Provide technical support to plant for parts, vendor development & during fitment on vehicle

8.Conduct Product and Process studies

9.Facilitate product transfer process by release of drawings & specifications

Competencies Required:

1.Technical Competencies

- Complete knowledge of Vehicle Aggregates & different systems

- Complete understanding of Business processes and bus process (Production line activities)

- Knowledge of Reliability Assurance Techniques and Quality System & Techniques

- Understanding of value engineering concept for different classes of product

- Knowledge of Good understanding of Engineering Drawings (2D/3D)

- Knowledge in Latest Technology in automotive industry preferably commercial passenger vehicles

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering with around 16-18 years of experience.
