Designation/Role: Head of Design / Design Lead - UI UX

Location: Gurgaon

Mode of Work: Hybrid

Total Experience: 7-12 Years

Qualification: Preferred Good Pedigree IIT / NIT + MBA (not mandatory).

Work Experience : SAAS + Logistics / Supply Chain Background Highly Preferred.

- Someone who has experience in high-growth startups with a background in SAAS along with Logistics or Supply chain and who has been leading a team and driving Design function at the company is an ideal candidate.

Key Pointers :

- Creating user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, and user feedback

- Creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and mockups

- Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns, and attractive user interfaces

- Designing UI elements such as input controls, navigational components, and informational components

- Creating original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)

- Identifying and troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)

- Collaborating effectively with the product, engineering, and management teams

- Incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability findings into design in order to enhance user experience

- Closely collaborate with the product and engineering teams to identify product goals and vision

- Conceptualize and define an end-to-end design strategy that supports customer needs and business goals. Provide detailed stories, and user flows illustrating the solution

- Closely collaborate with fellow design team to co-design while ensuring consistency across the suite of products and communication.

- Advocate user needs throughout the development lifecycle in an iterative environment to ensure problem-solution fit

- Verify and improve on designs through reviews, validations, and formal usability testing with end-users

- Become a subject matter expert with the ability to understand the latest architecture, technology, solution, market trends, and competitive offerings related to the digital logistics industry.

Skills :

- Defining and analyzing user flows and workflows

- Familiar with the UCD process

- Storytelling - ability to tell simple user stories illustrating solutions

- Team player in a high achievement-oriented environment

- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills

- Agile, adaptable, and capable of delivering new products and features

- Comfort working with developers in the presentation layer (for example, HTML, CSS)

- Experience in working with tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe XD

- Experience with user research is a plus

- Good aesthetic sense

- Strong prototyping skills.

- You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)

- You are proficient in prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, etc.

- Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus

- You pay strong attention to detail and have a keen eye for aesthetics

- You have excellent communication skills and can clearly articulate your ideas, designs, and suggestions
