Head/Deputy General Manager/General Manager - Project Management - Pharma

At present, we are having an urgent opening for PMO LEAD (AGM / DGM) for a REPUTED PHARMA MNC Co for THEIR ACUTE BUSINESS & EMERGING BUSINESS based at MUMBAI location.

The company is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company based in Mumbai

Job Purpose :

- Coordinate with business, support functions and finance to drive cross functional initiatives in project mode, ensure delivery of the goals of the project

- Provide MIS & closely track &review strategic, budget & business excellence initiatives for the BU; identify root causes for delays, work along with businesses and corporate teams to de-bottleneck

- Support the business in market access activities and driving overall outcomes linked to access initiatives

Key Accountability :

- Coordinate with business, support functions and finance to drive cross functional initiatives in the project mode, ensure delivery of the goals of the project

- Project management : Manage - high risk- projects by demonstrating the ability to assess, form and allocate work streams, managing own time and that of others to meet deadline; Carrying out a closed loop execution plan and working diligently with all concerned stakeholders to achieve specific project objectives Market research and analysis: Access wide range of primary and secondary knowledge

- Professional skillsets sources, such as IMS, AWACS, Newport, EXIM data base to interpret and develop strategic insights for CXO level teams; Develop excel based dashboards and frameworks to effectively present proposed solutions Structured problem solving through issue building and hypothesis testing: Adopt logical, coherent and consistent approach to problem solving; Challenge assumptions and probe details; develop and test models to ensure practical applications

- Identify, conceptualize and track key project initiatives along with the BU

- Ensure BU alignment in a timely manner; work closely with support function and business team to define the project milestones

- Program manage all strategic, budget and business excellence initiatives for the BU

- Support business / functions in preparing detailed roadmap, assess and align on prioritization with the business.

- Align milestones for each initiative with initiative owners & conduct appropriate reviews to ensure achievement of milestones Identify key risk and mitigation plan for the achievement of the project

- Work with the Business to define appropriate MIS formats and analytics to share with the business at various levels

- Support the conducting regular review meeting with all key stakeholders.

- Support the business in identifying new initiatives to achieve strategy; create detailed roadmap, identify owners, KRAs to track implementation

- Prioritize and escalate issues for at risk initiatives to the BU Head / SteerCo / MD for required interventions.

Support the business in market access activities and driving overall outcomes linked to access initiatives

- Work with stakeholders in India commercial, support and other functions in validating and implanting market access approach

- Develop innovative pricing, Govt. & payer partnership and patient models to enable an approach for CO's portfolio in India

- Program manage execution of market access enablers across relevant lines of business

- List the significant numerical data which will reflect the scope and scale of activities concerning this job such as budget, cost, revenue etc.

Direct reports - 2 Assistant project managers

Essential :

a. MBA from good management school / Post Graduate degree in pharma, science, engineering

b. Project Management experience

- 5-7 years of work experience with a mix of consulting and business roles ideally in driving transformational programs, especially in pharma industry

- Experienced in strategy development, program management, transformation

- High performance individual from BU or with deep strategy implementation experience

- Experienced in working with senior managers / board members

- Strong analytical, problem solving and financial modelling skills.
