Head Demand and Supply Planner

One of our Leading FMCG Client is looking for Leadership candidate in Demand and Supply role.

Job Summary :

- The role is responsible for collaborative planning and forecasting for the SpiceCo business unit across all sales channels. The objective is to ensure rigorous standards of data hygiene and analysis to improve the organization's forecast accuracy.

Areas of Responsibility :

To manage end to end Planning (demand & supply), Operations.

- Guide the sustainable change, performance improvement and development of internal operations, Supply Chain, to own the S&OP process.

- Daily execution of best-in-class customer service levels and product availability, high quality on time in full delivery and optimal management of human and financial resources.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Own & Drive S&OP process involving all functional leads

- Responsible from ideation to execution of Supply Chain Strategy

- Bring in system capability (including warehouse automation, auto solutions to Customer Service etc.)

- Lead tactical response to supply chain problems impacting service performance and customer satisfaction.

- Responsible for demand and supply forecasting, inventory planning and capacity management to meet the needs of the Smitten customer base.

- Daily execution of best in class customer service levels and product availability, high quality on time in full delivery and optimal management of human and financial resources.

- Direct the activities of all functions involved in the purchasing, planning, warehousing and control of materials from the receipt of forecasting replenishment needs to the delivery of the finished product.

- Manage inventory and establishes controls to ensure Smitten is operating at the highest level of performance based on key performance metrics and minimized supply chain risk.

- Evaluate past performance data to forecast needs and develop strategic plans to improve productivity, quality and efficiency of operations.

- Develop strategies, policies, procedures, and overall team to optimize value of the entire function.

- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to procurement.

- Participate in existing and new product planning processes to assure timely acquisition of materials to support product launches.

- Participate in the design and implementation of new ERP systems and optimize its use.

- Lead negotiation efforts for major contracts.

- Develop and manage departmental budgets accordingly.

- Establishes annual goals and objectives in coordination with corporate objectives, and manages performance to ensure attainment
