A client of ours is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as the Head of Demand. As the Head of Demand, you will be responsible for leading the demand team and driving revenue growth through process-driven strategies. This role requires exceptional skills in relationship building, the ability to build a top-of-funnel and closing deals. This is a leadership-level position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement process-driven sales strategies and plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
2. Lead Generation: Build a robust sales pipeline in collaboration with Sales Development Representatives and marketing team.
3. Closing Deals: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the enterprise and mid-market segments, spanning Indian markets.
4. End-to-End Sales Management: Take charge of the entire sales cycle, from initial client prospecting to finalizing deals.
5. Partnership Building: Forge lasting partnerships by unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and relationship-building.
6. Adapt and Thrive: Continuously assess and refine your approach, ensuring the pipeline and targets are on track.
7. Develop and implement sales processes and systems to streamline sales operations and maximise efficiency.
8. Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their success.
9. Set sales targets and goals for the team, and monitor performance against these targets.
10. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base.
11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
12. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
13. Monitor and analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
1. B2B Sales Expertise: Minimum 8-10 years of prior experience in B2B sales especially closing enterprise deals is a must.
2. Communication and Relationship-Building: Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to forge strong professional relationships.
3. Analytical Skills: Strong numeracy skills with the capability to define and meet pipeline metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
4. Drive and Enthusiasm: We value ambition, enthusiasm, and a passion for going above and beyond.
5. Proven Success: Demonstrated success in building a successful sales team.
6. Startup Experience: Previous exposure to a matured startup sales environment is a valuable asset.
7. Educational Qualification from IITs/NITs/IIMS is preferred
8. Quick Learner: Adaptability and a quick learning curve are highly regarded
