Head - Delivery Excellence
- This position is responsible for driving the quality of work we are performing for customers and measuring through a variety of methods.
- The key aspects of the role are definition, adoption and implementation of Project Management Methodologies, Processes, Procedures, Reporting and Quality Control to be used on major projects.
- The purpose of the group is to drive the consistent end-to-end implementation of services business practices, including quality assurance and transaction excellence.
- This role will work closely with the Leadership Team and PMO representatives across the organization.
Job Description :
- Build and deliver Operational/Delivery Excellence training and coach on business excellence principles.
- Assist organization in the creation, monitoring, measurement and analysis of standardized processes.
- Support the development and implementation of a formal management review of Key Performance/Operating results, and train and coach all functional areas on measurement principles.
- Analyze the supply chain metrics - effort deployment in projects, variance vs plan, open positions, planning for new projects, etc
- Drive project profitability along with delivery leadership
- Tracking milestone achievement and driving unbilled liquidation
- Provide support/input to weekly and/or monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and review meetings.
- Facilitate and/or participate in cross functional Process Improvement Initiatives and root cause analysis.
- Implement strategic quality direction into operational guidelines and practices and support ongoing expansion of the quality culture across the organization.
- Provide support to develop support assets, e.g., tracking tool for operational excellence success stories, tracking of root cause/lessons learned from actual delivery experiences, etc.
- Communicate to key management stakeholders on salient quality issues and business opportunities.
- Account P&L - Protect projected revenue, drive GP improvement and billing as per the guidelines without leakages.
- Zero Escalation
- Ensures success of the delivery organization.
- Manage conflicts, Drive the teams to remediate the problems and ensure the team's processes and tasks are carried out efficiently.
- Address all escalations with direct supervision and stakeholder management.
- Transition / Transformation Management Process Consultancy and Improvement
- Project Planning & Project Execution Participates in negotiating Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs) for the service.
- Involve in preparing SOW, Project Plan, participating in proposals, Scoping, Project Estimations, Resource Loading, Risk Management, Task delegation, Schedules, tracking status, Project cost/Effort tracker.
- Handling Change request in Project Management Conducting instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts. Maintain Project documentation.
- Budgeting, Planning and execution of time framed activities.
- Provide platforms and activities that enhance the last mile learning process.
Desired Experience :
- 15+ years' experience in managing technology teams
- Relationship Management - must have excellent experience /ability to build, nurture and maintain positive relationships with key business partners in India (both internal and external).
- Leadership - significant experience in leading change and implementing strategic plans
- Financial Management - should be skilled in Financial planning, budgeting, cost allocation and reporting. Experienced in developing and presenting business value cases.
- Project Management - consistent record of delivery and management of sizeable projects. Proficient in implementing project oversight, controls and business partner structures.
- High level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards
- Strong eye for business with outstanding analytical and technical skills, and willingness to challenge status quo.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize matters effectively along with outstanding interpersonal skills, effective management of different cultures.
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
Qualification :
- MBA or a related field
- Green Belt Certification or Black Belt Trained
- PMP or ITIL certification
