Job Description:

We are seeking a high-potential talent to join our Investment Banking Team, specializing in Debt Syndication. As a Debt Syndication Leader, you will play a crucial role in our organization's Investment Banking portfolio.

JOB DESCRIPTION /RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Business Development: Your primary focus will be on generating new business opportunities and expanding our debt syndication portfolio. You will leverage your extensive network to identify potential clients and partnerships.

2. Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue potential leads for debt syndication services. Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, financial institutions, and key stakeholders.

3. Debt Syndication: Lead and manage debt syndication transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and execution. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

4. Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis and due diligence on potential debt syndication projects. Assess the creditworthiness of clients and prepare comprehensive financial proposals.

5. Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Provide ongoing support and advisory services related to debt syndication and financing solutions.

6. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape in the debt syndication space. Use this knowledge to identify new opportunities and create innovative financing solutions.

7. Additional Roles and Responsibilities:

8. Help in building the Investment Banking business.

9. Support in origination and successful execution of debt syndication transactions.

10. Preparation of Transaction Collaterals Teaser/ Pitch Document,

11. Information Memorandum, Financial Model, etc.

12. Maintain deal trackers.

13. Track recent developments in the sector and regulatory changes.

14. Carry out sector research along with the reporting manager.

15. Maintain data received from the client and organize data room during the due diligence process.

16. Manage investor and client expectations concerning deals.

17. Support the reporting manager in creating a BD pipeline by suggesting new client relationships that can be pursued.

Desired Candidate's Profile:

1. This role requires extensive experience, a strong network, and a deep understanding of debt markets and syndication.

SKILLS AND TRAITS REQUIRED

1. Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in investment banking, with a strong focus on debt syndication.

2. A proven track record of successfully executing/closing debt syndication deals.

3. Extensive network and relationships within the financial industry, including banks, financial institutions, and potential clients.

4. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.

5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

7. In-depth knowledge of debt markets, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

8. Business development and lead generation expertise.

9. Mumbai-based candidates are only preferred.
