JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Data Science and Machine Learning Lead who can lead our Analytics and AI practice. The person should have deep expertise in both the traditional ML and the Deep learning algorithms. He or she should have managed the development and deployment of data science solutions and been involved in the complete life cycle of the models. The person will play a key role in the technology journey of the company and would be reporting to the Chief Technology Officer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Attract, mentor, and retain an excellent team of data scientists to solve complex problems in both the primary and secondary content space.

- Develop solutions that result in productivity gains for the operation teams of the company.

- Drive the design and delivery of the Intelligence components of Straive Data Platform.

- Liaise with the sales and the solution team to identify opportunities and develop solutions for generating additional revenue streams for the company

- Identify and collaborate with research institutes to solve long-standing complex problems in the fields of education publishing, scientific publishing, and secondary content space.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Any education degree. We are looking for a person with a proven record of accomplishment of solving real-world complex problems using the methods of Data Science and not for theoretical knowledge alone.

- Experience in developing solutions both using traditional machine learning methods.

- Expertise in using deep learning methods in the fields of Computer vision and NLP.

- Experience of handling advanced analytics and data science teams for at-least 5 years and a total experience of 15 plus years.

- Experience in different domains is a plus.

- End-to-end experience in model development, testing, implementation and performance tracking and continuous enhancement of the models.

- Programming expertise in Python.

- Experience of working on the cloud is a plus.

- Ability to travel as and when required
